    ❣️About Alayah:
    Alayah is a delightful, happy and playful young dog. She is affectionate and loving, she loves her name and her energy brightens when she is called. She has a very gentle nature, but is also a playful girl who even loves to play with much bigger dogs. She is does have a shy side so initially can her nervous.

    Alayah is a clever girl and a quick and eager learner. She knows sit, paw, and wait, and is currently working on lay down. She is also crate trained and toilet trained. She walks well on the leash, but can pull, so is currently walked on a halti with a double attachment to her collar as harnesses to tend to make her pull more.

    🏡What home does Alayah need:
    Alayah can be homed with dogs, cats and dog savvy older children ages 10+. Alayah can initially be nervous of people, however, she chooses to avoid rather than to be aggressive, so it is essential that initially she is in control of interactions and given plenty of space. Due to alayah being nervous, she can show behaviours like submissive weeing. This issue has improved significantly and is usually only a very small amount, by giving her space and only showing calm reactions if she does nervously wee has really helped her to reduce this issue. Any new family will need to be willing to calmly and lovingly deal with the issue to ensure that she can continue to develop and overcome as she has significantly improved with this already.

    🎾Favourite things and fears:
    Alayah loves to play with her toys, play with other dogs and have lots of cuddles and attention. But she is fearful of new people and vehicles on walks.

    🩺Medical information:
    Alayah is a healthy girl who is currently fed wainwright vegetable kibble with yora wet food. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and wormed and brucellosis tested.

    🚘For travel we ask fosterers and adopters who are Interested in UK based dogs to meet at a half way point with her current home, due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary but this is at the adopters expense.
