🐾Meet Charley: Your Soon-to-Be Best Friend!🐾
🐶Name: Charley
🕰️Age: 4.5 years old
💖Gender: Female
📏Size: Medium
📍Location: Edinburgh
🏡Home requirements: Charley can live with other dogs with slow introductions and dog savvy older children but is best suited to a cat free home.
🌸Are you looking for a loving, playful, and intelligent companion? Look no further than Charley, a 4.5-year-old female delight, weighing in at 16kg (though she should ideally be around 13kg, making her a small to medium-sized bundle of joy).
❤️Charley is the epitome of affection, with a playful and cuddly nature that will fill your home with warmth. She’s eager to please and incredibly adaptable, making her an ideal fit for various lifestyles. Her smarts and eagerness to learn make her a joy to train.
🦮Some of Charley’s adorable quirks include her delightfully cute yawns after a long nap and her charming habit of greeting you with joyful wiggling. She often rubs her face with both paws like a little rabbit and loves rubbing her back on the carpet.
💤Charley has a penchant for sleeping on the bed between your legs, and her love for zoomies will surely bring a smile to your face. Her soulful, joyful eyes, wagging tail, and overall happiness when she’s around you are heartwarming.
🛋️Charley enjoys sharing the sofa and sleeping between your legs at night. Her puppy eyes when receiving positive reinforcement are endearing.
🦴While Charley is an absolute darling, she does have a few things to work on. She tends to chew things she finds, despite having alternative toys, likely because she’s new to a home environment. Separation anxiety is another area we’re actively working on. Toilet training is ongoing, but she is eager to please and responds very well with training.
🩺Charley is a healthy girl; she has an old injury that can occasionally cause a temporary mild limp if she over exercises but she has been seen by a vet who confirms there are no issues with it. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea & wormed, brucellosis and 4DX tested.
🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter’s expense.
