    🐾Name: Rupert
    🧸Age: 7 months
    💙Gender: Male
🐕Size: Large sized, currently weighing 31.4kg

    ❣️About Rupert:
Rupert is a Cane Corso cross lab. He is an extremely affectionate boy with an incredibly happy nature. His current home describes him as a very typical puppy. Rupert is eager to please once bonded and will make a very loyal companion to any suitable home.

    🧠Training:
Rupert knows sit, lay down, throw, circle me, drop it, recall and bang. He walks well on the leash and is currently mastering heel, but this will need continual work. He is also crate trained but is still learning to settle in his environment.

    🏡What home does Rupert need:
Rupert would be best in a child free environment as he is a nervous boy and can find children overwhelming. He can live with other dogs and can live with cats. Any cat he lives with will need to be used to playing with dogs as he is incredibly playful with cats. He will need an home with its own private garden so that he has ample space to burn off steam in between walks. Rupert needs a home that understands resource guarding as this is an issue he does struggle with. He is incredibly eager to please and intelligent so we know that in the correct environment he will thrive. Due to being a nervous boy, he does also struggle with guests entering the home, he will need a patient and understanding environment to help him to overcome these issues. When he is overwhelmed, he does show behaviours such as snarling, growling and lunging.

    🎾Favourite things and fears:
Rupert loves cuddles, attention, walks and playing but is fearful of some men, bikes, scooters and shopping trollies.

    🩺Medical information:
Rupert has a deformity on his private area and also has an umbilical hernia. The vets have said that these issues can be corrected when he is neutered. He may also need a surgery on his eyes, but this is not definite and will be undecided until he is an adult. He is currently fed tails food and is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and wormed and brucellosis tested. He will also come with his passport.

🚘For travel we ask fosterers and adopters who are Interested in UK based dogs to meet at a half way point with my current home, due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary but this is at the adopters expense.
