✨Adoptive home wanted✨
🍄Name: Violet
🌸Size: Large
📍Location: Essex
🍁Age: 2 years old
🪴Gender: Female
🏡Home requirements: Violet needs to live in an adult only home. She could live with another dog of a similar size and needs a cat free home. She also needs a home with access to a private garden.
❤️Meet Violet, a charming 2-year-old female dog weighing between 42-44kg. Violet is a loyal companion who loves to cuddle on the sofa and enjoy the outdoors. She is particularly fond of garden time, regardless of the weather, and gets incredibly excited at the sight of her lead, making walks her favourite activity.
🧡At home, Violet is placid and enjoys bunny hopping when she’s thrilled. She has a unique habit of digging shingle to create a cozy spot in the garden. While she doesn’t prefer dog beds, Violet is content sleeping on the stairs, the top of the stairs, the bed, the floor, or the sofa.
💛Violet is a loyal friend who eagerly waits on the stairs for her owner to return home, always greeting them with joy. She is fully toilet trained and travels well in the car, though she needs assistance getting in.
💚When walking, Violet wears a harness on a short lead, as she can pull if given the chance or on a longer lead. She is hypervigilant and has a high prey drive, which can lead her to charge or pull if she spots squirrels or rabbits. A strong owner is necessary to manage this behaviour. Violet is also wary of busy roads and prefers walking in fields.
💙Despite her shyness around people, Violet is a happy and docile dog at home. She barks when visitors arrive, but with treats and calm reassurance, she settles down. An adult-only home would be ideal for Violet, as she can be wary of strangers. She could live with another playful dog of similar size but should not be in a home with small animals or cats, as she may not understand boundaries during play.
🩺Violet is a healthy girl. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, flea & wormed and brucellosis tested.
🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter’s expense.
