    ❤️Yukon is a lovely 7 year old, medium/large size male, currently based in Lincoln and is now ready to find his forever home. Yukon absolutely loves human company and forms strong bonds with them, he is very gentle, loving, very cuddly and affectionate! He enjoys playing with his doggie friends but his favourite thing ever is cuddles with his humans! He loves to press his head and body into his caregivers to request or should I say demand fuss, love, attention and of course cuddles. He has a deep voice and makes a purring sound when he wants attention or is receiving attention, It is honestly the cutest thing ever! He isn’t shy at all when he first arrived the first thing he did was climb into his caregivers lap for a cuddle, demonstrating how gentle and trusting he is despite his past.

    💛Yukon is toilet trained and is great at night time too. He is doing well with the lead but can pull a bit at first due to excitement but once he’s calmed down a bit he walks pretty well. He travels well in the car when he’s next to his human. He has picked up some commands already such as touch, paw, wait, no, away, on your bed, come, inside and he also knows his name what a clever boy he is!

    💚Yukon hasn’t shown any fear at all so far, he is brave on walks and growing in confidence every day! He can guard items at times but he just needs time to realise that he doesn’t need to anymore.

    💙Yukon is great with other dogs and is very gentle with dog savvy children, he hasn’t been cat tested so would be better in a cat free home

    🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter’s expense.
