    🏠Home requirements: Max needs a pet and child free home. He also needs access to his own private garden

    ❤️Max is a 3-year-old medium/large boy with a huge heart and so much love to give to the right person. He’s incredibly affectionate, emotionally in tune with his caregivers, and forms very close bonds with the people he trusts. Once you’re in his circle, you’ll have a loyal shadow who just wants to be near you.

    💛One of Max’s favourite things in the world is rolling around in the grass before coming over for cuddles. He also genuinely enjoys training and engaging with his humans — he already knows basic commands including sit, down and paw, and he’s crate trained too.

    🧡Max travels well in the car, is lead and toilet trained, and settles nicely with structure and routine. He’s a clever, sensitive dog who thrives when he feels safe and understood.

    💚Max is looking for an adult-only, pet-free home initially where he can continue building confidence and stability. He does have a history of reactivity on walks and towards guests entering the home. Although he has made positive progress with this behaviour, it’s important that his future adopters understand he may regress during the transition into a new environment. He can also be strong on lead and may pull when seeing other dogs.

    💙Because of this, Max would do best with calm, committed adopters who are willing to continue his training and advocate for him. In return, you’ll gain an incredibly loving companion who deeply connects with his people and has so much potential to flourish in the right home.

    🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter’s expense.
