    🏡Home requirements: Alfie can live with dog savvy older children and other small/medium dogs, but he is scared of large dogs. He also needs a cat free environment as does chase as he does not like cats.

    ❤️Alfie is a delightful medium to medium-large dog, approximately 6.5 to 7 years old, who is eagerly searching for his forever home. This charming pooch is known for his loving nature and his fondness for cuddles. Alfie loves to gently lean against you and is content to simply sleep at the end of the bed, just to be near. His affection is endless, and he loves as a cuddle whilst he naps on you.

    🧡Playfulness is one of Alfie’s many fantastic qualities. Although toys don’t capture his interest, he loves in interactive games with his human companions, especially when it involves tummy rubs. Alfie’s playful nature includes his adorable “surprise attacks” where he mimics a puppy, bringing a smile to anyone who sees.

    💛Mealtimes are never dull with Alfie around. Like a stealthy secret agent, he patiently waits around the corner as you finish your meal, ever hopeful for a treat. His patience almost guarantees him a tasty reward, which he eagerly waits for.

    💚Outdoor adventures are a favourite for Alfie, who enjoys his walks so much. His special joy is bounding through long grass with the grace of a deer, albeit with a touch of clumsiness. Alfie’s agility is impressive, and he has been known to jump incredibly high, even managing to reach a top bunk bed! All he desires in return is a loving cuddle.

    💙Alfie’s favourite pastimes include sunbathing, indulging in tummy rubs, and enjoying a good brushing session. He’s well-trained, letting you know when he needs to use the toilet, and he is comfortable on a lead. However, his recall can be unpredictable, so he should remain on the lead during walks.

    💜Alfie is great with smaller dogs but does not fare well with larger dogs. As for other household animals, cats are not recommended companions, as Alfie tends to bark and chase them. He would fit well into a household with dog-savvy older children, making him a perfect addition to families who can match his lively and affectionate spirit.

    🩺Alfie is a healthy boy, he is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea & wormed, brucellosis tested.

    🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter’s expense.
