    Hello, future family! I’m Buddy, a medium to large-sized, soft-hearted fellow, about 5 years young. I’m looking for a loving home where I can thrive and share my gentle spirit.

    💘Personality:
    I’m the perfect quiet companion. If you need a calm, soothing presence, I’m your match. I’m a bit shy and need a patient owner who understands that I’ll take my time to feel comfortable.

    🦮Favorite Activities:
    I love lounging, enjoying tasty meals, and savoring milk. Time in the garden and gentle brushing sessions are my favorite. I also love long walks and taking lovely long naps!

    🦴Toilet Training:
    I’m very tidy with excellent bathroom manners.

    🐶Training:
    I can be a bit stubborn but know ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ well—especially with treats involved!

    🐕‍🦺Lead Training:
    I’m good on the leash and love exploring during walks.

    ✨Behavioral Notes:
    I’m uneasy around men and might jump or lunge when startled. I’m not aggressive, just expressing discomfort. A calm, understanding owner can help me with this.

    I love other dogs but would do best as the only pet at home since I can be protective of other dogs that I live with. My experience with cats and smaller animals is unknown. An adult-only home would suit me best for a peaceful environment.

    🐾Adjusting to New Environments:
    New places and people can be overwhelming, so I prefer observing from a quiet corner. I also dislike trains.

    🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter’s expense.
