    ❤️Chipper is a 1 year old, medium/large size male. He is currently based in Bilsthorpe and is looking for his forever home. Chipper loves being around his humans and likes to follow them around like a little shadow. He is very inquisitive and when he hears noises he likes to go and investigate. He loves playing, loves to run around after his ball and his frisbee in the garden, He also loves a good rope toy and enjoys a game of tug with his humans. He enjoys playing with other dogs but can be a bit boisterous. Fuss and belly rubs are his favourite, he will roll onto his back to let you know when he wants belly rubs, he also enjoys a good ear scratch. He has a funny habit of moving like a slug towards his humans putting his head on their shoulder to have cuddles.

    💛Chipper likes to sleep on his bed at night and scratches at his bed and goes round in circles to make sure it is nice and comfy, he also makes funny noises before settling down for the night. He is fully toilet trained and travels really well in the car and enjoys watching the world go by out the window. He is fine on the lead but can be a bit strong, so will need further work to walk gently. He knows how to sit and lie down and responds very well to positive reinforcement. Overall he is very well behaved but does like to chew things he shouldn’t if he has nothing to chew. He loves deer antlers, yak sticks, venison sticks and ostrich bones. He also enjoys chewing toy bones, balls and ropes. He can also be quite boisterous with smaller dogs when playing.

    💙Chipper loves playing with other dogs but a dog who can match his energy and size would be ideal as he can be a bit boisterous during playtime. He is also used to living with cats and likes to lick them to show his affection. He can also live with dog savvy children.

    💚He is a bit unsure on fireworks and becomes vocal as if he is saying he isn’t impressed by them.

    🩺Chipper is a healthy boy, he is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flead, wormed and brucellosis tested.

    🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter’s expense.
